DJ Kair One
Kair One, a SoCal native "818 S.F.V to 661 A.V."... got inspired to step into the Hiphop arena by local San Fernando Valley DJ's as well as the original 1580 K-Day Mix Master's in the mid 80's. By the late 80's Kair One was in a Neighborhood crew (NSP) with friends that extended out Palmdale and Lancaster, CA, where he ended up hooking up with Los Angeles DJ Rip One.
Kair One and Rip One would eventually form the 'Innernational Crew', a pioneering scratch crew in the 90's, that held high in esteem the four elements of Hiphop. Long before our current digital transfer abilities, this crew was personally hustling mixtapes, from San Diego to San Francisco, at any and every hiphop event they could get into. Kair One and Rip One are still a two-man crew called 'the Little People', spawned from their relationship and efforts within the 'Innernational Crew'.
The next decade brought new music groups and styles to hiphop, and with it it we saw the emergent DJ as producer. Kair One was quick to follow suite, never trading his turntables, but adding the element of beat production to his list of skills. Coming from the DJ background first, has allowed Kair One the ability to develop a well trained ear as a wax-master audiophile. He definately digs deep in his numerous crates to find the perfect samples.
In 2006, another major shift moved Kair One. it was a strong draw towards Christ. Kair One never felt he had to leave his talents and abilities behind as he developed a strong Faith in the Bible and Jesus. With the same passion and pursuit of that hardcore Hiphop sound, beleive that Kair One doesn't make anything that won't minister to the Lost. There will always be a message in the Music.
