Promo Video "5 in the Hot Seat"
Blessings my Locust Comrades.
Today we will be discussing our "5 in the Hot Seat" video promo for the "a Mighty Army Cometh" album.
the Task
The goal of this mini-video ad campaign is to obviously set forth some album promo. For this "5 in the Hot Seat" series we want to have an 'ice-breaker', relaxed mood that allows the viewer to 'meet the cast' of SOTL. So the questions are geared to fit that mood. Simply video your answers in an NON-edited, off-the-cuff manner... send it to HQ (Jeremiah, Samuel or Marshall will be editing these) and let us do the rest (editing, adding an intro and outro).
the Format
The format of these videos will be simple. We will be keeping the videos under 3 minutes long. Short and sweet.
-Each one will have the same "5 in the Hot Seat" intro
-Then the edited footage of you answering the 5 questions.
-Ending with the same VISUAL "5 in the Hot Seat" outro, promoting the album EXCEPT that on each outro the music that will be playing is a short snippet of the verse you each mention in question 5.

Video Guidelines:
-Point a camera at yourself (we want a camera set up. NOT you holding your cellphone). Either put your cellphone set up on something and pointed at you OR use the camera on your laptop/pc)
-Once you hit record... film yourself OFF SCREEN, coming on screen and sitting down in front of the camera. This will be where we add subtitles of your name while you are 'Sitting in the Hot Seat".
-Simply look at the camera and answer the questions from the list. READ each question outloud. PAUSE for a second before answering. PAUSE for a second before moving on to the next one.
-Be yourself. Don't try to 'act'. Have fun. Be light-hearted. DONT erase/edit 'mess-ups' (if you feel you 'messed up' then simply RESTART)
-You can explain yourself a bit but don't be long-winded. ex: "Ice-Cream, FroYo, Gelato or Spumoni:"..... answer: "Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey... from Am/Pm.... has to be from Am/Pm."
-Have your cell phone ready to show pic on question 4.
