Nomadik Vagabond |
Nomadik Vagabond is a MC, DJ, Beatboxer, and Producer. He fell in love with HipHop at 8 years old and never looked back. In the late 90's Noticing, what he felt was, a Downward Trend in the Music favoring more commercial styles, he gravitated towards the rugged soundscape of Underground Hiphop.
In Nomadik's late high school years, a friend introduced him to reggae music which seemed to nurture his spiritual life and love for the scriptures.
The following years would bring many trials and tribulations that nearly caused Nomadik to lose and leave his Faith. However he found a door into the Orthodox Church, sparking a journey in embracing the ancient practices of the Christian Theology. The early Church Fathers renewed his love for God and Scripture.
Nomadik, never losing his love for music, appeared on the final 'Sphere of HipHop' Compilation, "Soul Design". His verse slotted next to Braille's on the track "Balancing Act" - Nomadik has been honing his MC Skills ever since!
And when not recording for rap tracks, he is joyfully busy taking care of his family in training up the next generation God's Soldiers.
Nomadik can be heard, along with Chunjay, on the "Brews, Beards & Shipwrecks" Podcast.
Nomadik saw a mutual kinship with Jeremiah Dirt, feeling him to be brother "Dread inna Babylon' - and was attracted to the venerable ethos throughout the SOTL releases. Now, as a member, he hopes to encourage the listeners to look deep into the fulfilling traditions of the Christian Faith.
